Dedicating this project to anyone who’s in a rough or weird place in their life, a relationship or even their career and is looking for it to pass🤍 even the hardest of times are just for now. Thank you to everyone who made this possible, worked on the project, and listened/supported. Y’all helping make a lil Syrian girl from Toronto’s dreams come true” – Yarah

Toronto artist Yarah makes her debut with a smooth new EP titled Just For Now. With nine songs total, the project is filled with intimately vulnerable lyricism graced by Yarah’s softly mature vocals. The production is fittingly warm, which aligns with the thematic romanticism and/or reminiscent lust detailed throughout. With a heavy R&B sound, the EP flows quite seamlessly all the way through as Yarah comfortably sings at her own pace. Her voice is attractively polished, and each lyric is eloquently expressed in first-person to invite the listener into her therapeutic comfort zone. Moreover, the transitions on this project are outstanding; namely the gradual introduction that ramps up to the quicker paced track “Hold That.” Overall, Just For Now is a successfully body of work from Yarah, which will certainly build intrigue ahead of her eventual debut album.
