Clocks + Colours are a unique Canadian brand, who make an assortment of accessories ranging from rings and bracelets to chains, pendants, headwear and sunglasses. All of their jewelry pieces are made from handcrafted heavy metal, and feature breathtaking attention to detail. Each of their collections draw inspiration from the powerful North American Frontier landscape, as well as the rugged roads that run through it — the results are collections that are uniquely flashy and classy all in one. Some of the most notable names who have been spotted wearing pieces from Clocks + Colours include Wiz Khalifa, Keshi and Bloody Osiris.
“With the quality to survive bar fights and uncontrolled skids, each piece is a statement that you are just as untameable as the boondocks and badlands you hail from.”
Their newest SS22 eyewear collection, “Junkyard Dogs,” was released earlier this month — with an emphasis on being bold and thinking big, the collection sees the debut of four new styles of sunglasses.
The Getaway
The Getaway is the most bold of the four new releases, as it features ultra-thick frames which are carefully sharp edged with deep-dish bevelling around the lenses. Featuring nautical star detailing on the front and their logo on the side of the frame, these are a stylish pair of shades. The Getaway emphasizes boldness and their signature hardware tips are a unique touch that assure sturdiness.
Features: German-engineered five-barrel hinges, Biodegradable acetate construction, ’Green Nylon’ lenses & 100% recycled stainless steel detailing
The Rider
The Rider takes inspiration from the round metal frames that were popularized by Navy submariners in the 1930s. Featuring custom-tooled temples with subtle nautical star markings, they’re Clocks + Colours’ take on the classic aviator sunglasses, adding their own details and twist to a look that you could never go wrong with.
Features: German-engineered three-barrel hinges, 100% recycled stainless steel construction, ’Green Nylon’ lenses
The Interstate
Drawing inspiration from two classic frame styles that were popularized in the 1970s (“Driver” and “Explorer” frames), The Interstate is a modern twist on a classic look. Its flat top is reminiscent of Driver frames, while the rounded lenses are pulled from the look of “Explorer” frames. Finished with north star detailing on the frame lugs.
Features: German-engineered three-barrel hinges, Biodegradable acetate construction, ‘Green Nylon’ lenses, 100% recycled stainless steel temples and detailing, Branded hard-case included
The Wanderer
The Wanderer’s unique hexagon shape takes inspiration from the vintage metal frames that have become popular today. Its temples are custom-tooled and finished with subtle yet noticeable nautical star markings.
Features: German-engineered three-barrel hinges, 100% recycled stainless steel construction, ‘Green Nylon’ lenses
