The self-proclaimed “LeBron James of Montreal hip-hop”, Nate Husser, is gearing up to release his new EP, ADULT SUPERVISION, on Friday, June 25th. Ahead of the EP’s release, however, he teamed up with artist Jean Deaux and the “les enfants” production team to release the extremely entertaining music video to “Sleep Like A Baby”.

Like many artists native to Montreal, Nate Husser thrives on his uniqueness and creativity. Even though he’s already seen a lot of success in his career so far, it feels like with this next release, Nate is ready to take things to the next level.

“Sleep Like A Baby”, which features Chicago’s Jean Deaux, who’s worked with Mick Jenkins, Isaiah Rashad, and many others, continues Nate’s streak of obnoxiously hard singles.

Produced by Eva Shaw, the beat features knocking drum patterns behind grimey 808’s and catchy synth melodies. Nate absolutely bodies his verse and hook, but Jean Deaux does not hold back either.

In addition to being a really dope song, “Sleep Like A Baby” is also accompanied by a fun, comedic music video with a vintage aesthetic. Muted colours and a VHS-film style only adds to the energy of the song. Not to mention, Nate closes out the video with a hilarious “trap next door” skit.

Check out the music video above and be sure to show Nate some love!

You can also check out the single below. Be sure to check out ADULT SUERPVISION when it comes out this Friday.
