Velow has quickly found himself at the front of Toronto’s music scene. Within just a few months, Velow has rolled out 4 singles, 3 of them coming with music videos – and fans love all of it. Velow is subtly but surely taking over the city, and his newest release is certainly going to help. As an exclusive release through producer Phantum’s SoundCloud page, Velow dropped off his remix to the Drake and Future collab “Life Is Good”.
Velow grew up in Scarborough and has a history of working with artists as successful as Jessie Reyez. Although he’s spent most of his career behind the scenes, based on his output over the last few months, it seems as though he’s ready to flood the city with music.
Although he’s drawn comparisons to Pop Smoke and Rick Ross, because of his deep voice and aggressive beat selection, he’s truthfully doing his own thing. We love when artists are making music that they enjoy, and ever since the original release of “Laughed To Myself”, we’ve been ready for Toronto to hear more.
