Young Toronto rapper Friyie dropped his new album Before The Flight, which already hit over 400K stream count.
Friyie’s new album follows 2019 ANF: Ain’t Nothing Free EP album, which includes one of his most popular tracks Ovechkin. However, the jump-start of his career happened when his track Money Team played on the Mayweather vs. McGregor press conference in Toronto. The song has over 5 million streams on Spotify and is one of most recognizable tracks of the summer of 2017.
Friyie released two other tracks, Kente Cloth and Elastic prior to the new album to tease the fans.
The D1wav-assisted Kente Cloth was a big success and currently has 150K streams and a music video was posted to popular UK platform GRM Daily on June 14. The rapper also released few video clips for Before The Flight tracks Ride With a Real One, Flawless and Paper Cuts in the past months.
He continues to tease the fans with post on Instagram about ANF2, suggesting he might drop the sequel for his first EP any day now.
