Boy Pape has been navigating the underground music scene for a few years now with releases coming as early as 2018. Pape is a multi-faceted artist, creating hit songs while also crossing into the worlds of fashion and cinema. He has performed alongside Francesco Yates to open for Justin Timberlake on a few stops of his “Man of the Woods” tour. Pape has a cameo in the Netflix movie Polar, which stars Vanessa Hudgens and Mads Mikkelsen. He is also set to play a role in an upcoming Netflix-series which has yet to be named. Pape walked the Fashion Forward 6 runway show rocking the Canadian-brand Mer Des Dieux. Before working with G-Star Raw to showcase their Jayden Smith collab on tour. All the while, Boy Pape has been releasing hits. His latest track “Worth It” is an absolute vibe – it features popping verses and a super smooth, catchy hook. The song is undeniably hard and is Pape’s reflection on a night in the life of a Rockstar.

Boy Pape’s “Worth It” is a refreshing sound to hear from Toronto. The hard-hitting trap drums and jumping energetic flows transition seamlessly into an aggressive head-banging track. Even though the song is explicit and aggressive, it is still very polished. Boy Pape shows out vocally and matches the energy of the production, which was handled by Trappy Gilmore & SLWJMZ- both, Toronto-based producers.

The beat is carefully layered and only uses sounds that are absolutely necessary for a finished product. Everyone involved in this release was given the opportunity to shine and they did. Boy Pape is diverse and clearly has potential. We are excited to hear what his future drops will sound like, but until then you should check out his new song, “Worth It”.
