With a refreshing sound coming from the west coast, SWIM (“Someone Who Isn’t Me”) released a new single, appropriately titled “Heal Me”. Just in time for the first summer that feels remotely normal since the start of the pandemic, the Vancouver duo Chase (vocalist) and Nick (producer) perfectly balance the nostalgic sound of pop-punk vocals with modern and soulful R&B beats into the perfect summer heartbreak song.

With a passion for music, the two life-long friends have dedicated the past couple of years creating a flawless sonic blend of brooding vocals, ethereal melodies, and dark instrumentals, effectively carving out a unique identity in the Alternative R&B space. Sustained by trap beats and almost celestial melodies, SWIM provides the ideal sonic escape from reality.

“Heal Me” – the duo’s latest – exhibits the fusion of modern trap beats and hip-hop production with pop-punk vocal tones. Made in collaboration with the rising producer “Instinct” (also credited by 12AM, Aaryan Shah, Always Never, and Plaza), the song takes us on the timeless journey of processing heartbreak, numbing the sadness, and feeling lost without the one we love.

For fans of The Weeknd, Chase Atlantic, Black Atlass, or Manila Grey, check out the pair’s new track “Heal Me” on all streaming platforms. With an unlimited potential, we can’t wait to see where SWIM goes next!
