There’s nothing better than new and upcoming Toronto based artists appearing onto the scene. Every year we get new projects and to start off 2021 right. Scarborough bound rapper Kofi released his single ‘Space Cadet’ featuring Duvy, and produced by Catch 22.
In August 2020, Kofi released his debut EP “Story of My Life” with Red Bull Records. He continuously caught Toronto’s attention and when he put out his “Do not Disturb” freestyle, he caught the eyes of none other than Drake and the OVO team.
On his mission to become one of the most memorable rappers from Scarborough, Kofi has worked with the BET nominated rapper Kwesi Arthur and possibly Asakaa Boys. Early this month, he travelled to Ghana to connect with his cultural roots. Kofi is one of those rappers who searches for a soul purpose and when he ties his messages in his music, it’s nothing but fire.
As he prepares to drop ‘Space Cadet’ Toronto should prepare themselves too. With his contagious and steady flows, Kofi is that kid on the block to watch out for.
