First thing’s first, rest in peace Houdini. May his legacy carry on through his music.
Today marks Houdini’s first posthumous release, although it is a feature. He links up with Pressa to produce “Mansion” for the upcoming 6ixbuzz tape “Canada’s Most Wanted”.
Pressa and Houdini always hit. The two Northside Jane rapper’s chemistry goes way back which makes for an excellent tag-team. They have very few collaborations but you can always catch them in the background of each other’s music video.
Mansion is another classic in the books for these two. The track was produced by Vincent van den Ende, who laced the beat with a guitar loop and made the drums knock! Pressa takes over the track with his catchy flows and often underrated lyricism, leading to Houdini’s feature. Hou doesn’t have a big feature in the song, however his nice melodies definitely gives the song the finishing touch.
A music video for Mansion will be released sometime soon, so keep up with Sidedoor to tune into that. We’re looking forward to “Canada’s Most Wanted” by 6ixbuzz and more unreleased music from Houdini.
