Prime Boys Donnie Links Up With Young Smoke to release brand new single ‘belligerent’ with a music video to go along with it.

It seems like Toronto’s rap trio Prime Boys have been keeping the ball rolling over the last few months. With Donnie and Jay Whiss releasing albums (From the Beginning To End & Peace of Mind) and Jimmy putting out singles off of his upcoming album “Blue Mercedes”, the Prime Boys look to take over the city.

Donnie connects with Young Smoke, the younger brother of Toronto Hip-Hop legend Smoke Dawg for this feature. Young Smoke has been making his own career rapping, looking to continue the legacy his older brother left behind. He made his debut appearance Smoke Dawg’s posthumous album “Struggle Before Glory” on the bonus track Smokey World and has been putting out tunes since.

Belligerent continues Donnie’s hot streak. It’s a short but sweet song that you can throw on the speakers and vibe to. Although what’s interesting is the sample chosen, which involves a Spanish-folk guitar melody that sounds like something out of an episode of Narcos. The visuals are clean shots of the two of them just flexing in a jewelry store, having some fun. The pair made for a nice collaboration and I wouldn’t be surprised if they hopped on more together soon.
