If there is one rule to live by in this world, one can suggest patience. Patience, patience, patience. Many forget that great things take time, Tasha Angela hasn’t. This Toronto-based soul/r&b artist who is skilled in various ways has a promising future ahead of her. Being a singer, song writer, composer and a pianist, it seems like Tasha has surely been perfecting her craft before sharing her sound with the world.
With Canadian influences such as Fierce and Shania Twain, Tasha looks to mark her own sound in the Canadian Industry . Releasing her debut single “Lost in Nostalgia” in late 2019, Tasha had been put on a spotlight as one of the finest, new talents emerging from the city.
On February 4th, Tasha released her long coming debut EP “Hidden Gems” on behalf of Public Records/Universal Music Canada. Hidden Gems is composed of 5 soulful pieces that allow the listeners to tune into Tasha’s world. One can describe the EP as romantic and timeless, but Tasha prefers to refer to her music as “personal experiences” and “observations”.
Tasha explains:
“Hidden Gems is extremely important to me as it is my first body of work that I am putting out in the world. I named it Hidden Gems because I’m finally gaining the confidence to share my music with the world. Each song was written and composed by me.” Tasha explains Via Public Records.

Summing up to a total of 14 minutes, Hidden Gems doesn’t need another song to showcase Tasha’s potential. Hats off to Sam Jackson Willow, Dan Kurtz & AsylumTO for exceptional production start to finish, allowing Tasha to manifest her visions into reality. Tasha has already released visuals to “Lost in Nostalgia” as well as “Undescribable Feeling” on her Youtube Channel.
