Derek Wise, known as GlamBoy, and 88Camino became a duo after being connected by an XO manager. The pair have been gaining success after their self-titled debut in 2017 which featured notable guests such as the Weeknd and NAV. Since then, 88Glam has garnered millions of streams on Spotify and Youtube, especially after their 2018 release 88Glam 2.
Their latest single, ‘East to West’, premiered on November 7th. This was produced by Alexonweed and Longwalker and is in collaboration with 6ixbuzz, Toronto’s leading source for news on pop culture, local stories and more. It will be a part of a forthcoming 6ixbuzz compilation project. This single was accompanied by a music video release where the duo can be seen cruising through the streets, partying with numerous women and gallivanting through a grocery store. Fans say the duo never fails to bring a unique flow and high energy to their songs. 88Glam is known for their catchy hooks and original sound.
