While in the midst of quarantine Drake has brought in a new dance for the music world with the help of dancers and musicians Toosie, Hiii Key, Ayo and Teo. With the release of “Toosie Slide” Drake is seen showcasing his absurd Bridal Path mansion while performing the newly viral Tik Tok dance throughout his home. The 5 minute video starts off with shots of some of Toronto’s busiest streets including The Gardiner Expressway, Queen Street West and University Avenue – all empty as a result of the risk surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. Director and editor Theo Skrudra then follows Drizzy throughout the rest of the video as the Toronto-born hit maker showcases his many awards, a flashy grand piano, a massive indoor swimming pool and many more. Theo then wraps it up with the 6 God doing the “Toosie Slide” in his backyard while a mass amount of fireworks pop off in the background creating a truly spectacular scene. Drake is heard on the chorus of the track saying “Left foot up right foot slide, right foot up left foot slide”, as he explains the new dance.We’re sure the Tik Tok influence’s will love this one.
